Does anyone know the actual level (db's) of interior road noise when the base model and Z51, are cruising at 60 or 70 MPH.

I have looked through every car magazine I subscribed to (Car and Driver; Road and Track; Automobile) and on-line and I cannot find any published numbers.

All I know about interior noise is that it is very irritating.My 13 was much better.

mine much quieter than many BMW'S i know well....however, chose my tires based on most quiet-(NITTO INVO)

Folks. it is a sports car! If you want quiet, buy a Lexus. My C7 Z51 is quieter than my previous M3 of M5

And in the short drive I took in one it's quieter than any of my previous or current Porsche's or my '96 LT4. What noises do come through are mechanical music IMHO

I have performance exhaust enabled about 90% of the time. During the times that feature has been disabled, I found interior noise to be very different depending on road surface. Older choppier roads do result in some noise. More freshly surfaced, asphalt roads are very quiet. It's never as quiet as a luxury sedan but that wasn't part of my decision criiteria.

My wife says it noisier than our CRV. You're right honey.............. I feel bad about that - maybe a C8 or a Z07 will be quieter and we can trade this in on one.
