Fdxpilot, while you are technically correct I have yet to run into anyone connected with selling 2014 Corvettes who do not know what you mean when you say "C7". The term is also used at the NCMuseum, the GM Authority web site and throughout most popular automotive media.Actually, I don't think you will see the term "C7" anywhere in official GM Literature. They call it the "seventh generation" or just Corvette Stingray. The Cx terminology is an enthusiast shorthand for the various generations. That's one of the reasons you often get a "deer in the headlights" stare from Chevy sales people when you ask about a "C7."
