Ive heard some bad things about the car cover like it causes more damage then it protects cause of it being driven and not washed everyday dirt gets on the car and scratches the paint when being put on, is that correct?

jroes....
You won't need a cover.
If you don't have a garage, don't worry.... a C7 Stingray sitting outside will probably be stolen within the first few nights!

Just messin' with ya! Enjoy!

Thanks for this advice so based on that article I should go with tyvek cover since this will be my daily driver so it won't stay covered for long periods of time
Personally, I wouldn't use ANY kind of cover even temporarily on a car that isn't 100% clean. Unless you're in a situation where you're forced to park under trees or other tall objects that could generate debris then a paint coating and frequent washing should be all you'll need. With anything else landing on the car, you're unfortunately not going to be able to keep it perfect no matter what you do.

Yea I was just concerned since it already has those fine scratches that you can hardly see in direct sunlight so i thought a car cover would fix that but looks like I need some paint coating and then a clear coat added to it

About stolen Corvettes. They rank very low in percentage due to the uniqueness of the vehicle. Resale is not an option. Only lower tier states (such as az) have a problem with shipments "borrowed" to go to Mexico.

I don't have a garage but bought the car just looking for the different options to protect the paint
Your depicted post sounds like you are really worried about your car
don't panic there way no. with which you can protect your car like my friend "Glen e" suggested to use waxes, sealants and coatings or you use a car cover when your car is not in use,, then try keep your car in shades like under the tree this would also do,,
I hope my suggestion would definitely help you. :D
