Just had 2 upgrades today at my dealer and found the following problems .

1 my screen seems to not allow for my nav screen to come up
2. When my contact list is up the scroll bar. Allows me to move it but he arrows no longer work. It wasn't like this before. The letters on the side do work

3. When on the main screen several of the icons do not respond like the onstar , nav or phone. I can occas get it to work but it seems the touch function is not working like before. Has anybody had these issues and if so what was the fix. Everything worked perfectly before the update.
Since I have a 7speed I've asked he dealer to update the seat position as well. It seems to be better but I need o tweak the settings.

Please advise this is so frustrating.

Maybe the flash had some bits corrupted. It sounds like they should try updating it again.

What did the dealer say? He just sent you home with it like this, or you didn't find out until you got home?

Seems better today however there are some glitches that I've noticed. First is the chirps that u hear when you press a preset station just chirps!!! Quite annoying. It stopped after pressing several stations. Another glitch I've encountered today was when I depress the ignition my seat moved to a set location but not to a preset one I've created. The drivers side mirror also moves.

Can anybody help me on this is there something I'm doing wrong with the seat preset. What is the on ignition setup position 1? It doesn't get to that position unless I depress 1 and hold. Not sure how or where to set the seating position with this new software.

Try using the other keyfob. I bet you're using the wrong one.

It doesn't matter which one you used when you saved the memory setting, each fob is assigned to a memory location, 1 or 2 when it's programmed at the factory. They don't mark the fob and both look identical. The manual is horribly written in this regard, not only does it not mention each fob is assigned to a particular memory setting there is no mention of how to change that assignment like you could with older GM products. Even the dealer training lacks info on this. My museum delivery host said the fobs were independent of the memory recall settings and could not be assigned and they were told this in the training.

I knew that had to be wrong because the manual explicitly describes of the recall function works with the unlock function of the fob and it has to be assigned to a specific memory setting or how would it know which one to select. It took about 2 minutes for me to figure out which fob was assigned to which setting here's how to figure out which fob is which.

First, modify the setting in Vehicle -> Comfort and Convenience for auto memory recall for On Door Open (or simply enabled in a manual without the latest update).

Second, Set each memory to distinctly different settings so you know which it is recalling when you perform the next step.

Third, take one fob and press the unlock button, the seat, mirrors and steering wheel will move to one of the memory positions. Take the other fob and do the same thing, the seat and everything else will move to a different position assuming you performed step 2 and memorized 2 distinct settings.

You now know which fob is linked to which memory setting, make sure to label them appropriately.

Thanks so much. Was getting bummed and finally as per your suggestion i changed the setting to #2. I set my driving position and mirrors steering wheel etc and wallah. When i press the ignition its in my preferred driving position. Thanks so much.

As far as the quirky issues with the touchscreen i recalibrated the screen and it works perfectly.
Now i feel awesome about this.

Unfortunately my wallet, cell phone and daily driver keys are in the storage compartment. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any advise to manually open the screen.

Any help out there? I cant move the icons/ app bottoms to other screens , I have tried everything they sometimes wont move to the next screen and when they do they move but wont stay on the new screen.

Another problem I found yesterday is that when using my IPOD, the song names/titles to not switch on the Infotainment screen. When the next song begins, the last song is still on the screen. Anyone else have this......?

check to see if something is wedged between the screen on the inside and the slot it is in..things can get in there and jam it.
