Got the phone call today, the Night Race Blue roadster is off the truck at MacMulkin. Going to inspect it Wednesday afternoon. They will have their Xpel installer come in to do the car at MacMulkin on Thursday, and i pick it up Friday.

So I get to go out on Halloween as a C7 owner.

All in all, it was pretty fast from order to delivery, and as I was careful to know what I wanted at the outset, suffered no delays from order changes.

Exciting times for sure. Hope the weather cooperates, and it will be a top down ride home.

SWEET Rob! Where in So VT are you? Used to own a place in Pownal - just south of Bennington. Loved it there. Maybe someday we'll go back. Lots of great roads to tour up there! PICS please!

Be safe!

Jeff, I am in Andover Vt, on a hill overlooking Weston VT, home of the Vermont Country store. I live on a piece of real estate officially called "Terrible Mountain", between Stratton and Okemo ski resorts.

Rob, congrats on your new C7 masterpiece when you pick it up Friday. Will you surpass the break in period driving home? Post some pictures from MacMulkin so we all can view your Halloween treat. Have a safe enjoyable trip back home.

Its 98 miles from MacMulkin to my garage. Hope to log at least 500 miles before it is put away for winter.

OK, went over for my pre-Xpel first look at the car. MacMulkin had it stored on the third floor of its main building, one floor above the sales showroom. Lighting today was poor, it was a bright, but cloudy day, and there are overhead flourescent lights. Nevertheless, this is the NRB roadster. Note the carbon flash badges. They make the side fish and the C O R V E T T E on the rear almost disappear. Note the red C2 coupe behind my C7.

Rob, please give us your opinion of the XPEL work done. It should be Autobahnd North doing the install. I have talked to them and to MacMulkin and will have my baby done this spring by them when it is delivered to MacMulkin. I heard that MacMulkin's detailer does a great job before it gets filmed. I am really interested in your thoughts because I will not be able to Pre-inspect my vehicle like you have.

Enjoy and congrats!!

Great news for you Rob. Looks like you'll beat the snow. I just heard from MacMulkin that I finally reached 2000. I'm contemplating using chains on my wheels to get vette back home to NY by the time I get delivery. Put that top down and get some miles on even if you have to wear insulated underwear and keep the heater on full blast if it turns real cold. ENJOY
