First off, I would like to thank EVERYONE on this forum (especially Glen E & Elegant) who helped me through the complex, yet exhilarating process of purchasing my new C7!

I took delivery from my local dealer on Friday night and unfortunately I had to head out of town on Saturday morning for my girlfriend's best friend's wedding shower. Thankfully I will be able to start driving my baby tomorrow!!

I've included some initial pics and I promise to include much better, higher resolution photos in the near future once I have the car coated with XPEL and CQuartz.

Here are my planned purchases over the next few weeks:

(1) Carbon fiber license plate frame (or something else that looks good WITHOUT dealer advertising)
(2) Lloyd's mats
(3) Cargo shade
(4) Splash guards (mud flaps)
(5) XPEL & CQuartz
(6) I may exchange the front grill for the Z06 grill

Cheers everyone!

Josh

We've had a week stretch of rainy weather here in Charleston so I had yet to experience my C7 with the top stowed until this afternoon. I got called by one of my partners to cover her late shift tonight so I used the opportunity to experience my C7 in targa form. Please excuse the car if there are any blemishes, I have yet to give her a proper bath.

I have to say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I have no regrets on any of my options. As some of you may know I was very close to pulling the trigger on a more "practical" car - an M3 or Range Rover Sport - but I am so glad I followed my instincts and listened to all of your advice.

I can't say I have any real complaints about the car - I do have some minor suggestions for GM on future models - but fundamentally this car is just unbelievable. Tire Wheel Vehicle Automotive tire Transport

I noticed you had blue carpets, but I thought I had seen a Brownstone interior in a NRB that had Brown carpets..??? Did not think there was a carpet color option so maybe I am in la la land....

Factory carpets are black and I ordered Lloyd's mats with the Corvette flags logo which are black as well. I think this color contrasts very well against Kalahari.

I also ordered a pure carbon fiber license plate frame from RPI last week which looks fantastic.

I just wanted to give a quick plug for Seat Armour Seat Towels - which are sold by one of our sponsoring vendors, Southern Car Parts (which is a fantastic company by the way).

I was looking for a cheap, low-tech solution for protecting my C7's seats after a trip to the gym or beach. The Seat Armour Towels slide over the seats like a bib and are machine-washable. Just used them after a few hours of tennis with the girlfriend. Highly recommend them! 55 bucks for two towels. Vehicle Car Vehicle door Personal luxury car Auto part

Just saw this thread Joshua. You obviously have good taste. Love the color combo-it is exactly the combination that I will order when I get there. But with red calipers. Otherwise identical. -Bob

Thanks Warp Ten and congrats on getting close to placing your order!I'm about 850 miles in and I love my night race blue coupe. Let me know if you have any questions on accessories, etc.
