OK...I just couldn't stand it any longer! Reading all the posts from all you "proud parents" really got me going. Then, like magic, my salesman Kyl emailed to tell me he had open allocations. Since the Z51s are still on constraint, I opted to get right in with a non Z51 pkg (I hear the ride is a little smoother too). Ordering from Afghanistan presents issues in and of itself. Since I won't get back stateside until 21 March, Kyl has promised to lock it up and keep it there in the showroom until I take delivery.

So, here's my order:
Cyber Grey/Kalahari, 2LT, auto, nav, chrome wheels, performance exhaust, dual roof pkg, Z51 spoiler

Now, it's just a matter of making it through this winter in this miserable place, getting on a plane in mid-March, arriving in Dallas about 18 hours of flight time later, picking up my new baby, and driving the 2.5 hrs home! I am SO STOKED!!!

Thanks to Sinner for turning me onto Kyl and thanks to all of y'all in here with all the great posts and very helpful answers to all the questions!

Cool. I think we all feel that same excitement and anticipation.

FWIW, I ordered a Z51 and it seems to have slipped right throughout the constraints somehow. This is to just say that some are getting through the constraints. With the extra wait time, maybe you should try to get what you want? You could change the order to a non Z51 if it doesn't get through the constraints. Based on the March timeframe you might have enough time to give it a shot.
