I took delivery of my car today. Couple of things that I'm wondering what other people's experiences were.

1. Car had 24 miles on it. Salesman told me that's how many were on it when it was delivered. Is this normal? Seems a little much.

2. When I went to pair my phone, there was already one paired phone. It said "Judy's phone". Is this something done by someone during the QC process? To make sure the pairing process worked correctly?

How do these compare to other people's experiences?

Thanks for your responses!

24 means somebody drove it somewhere and Judy could be anyone....don't over stress on this, if car is pristine and trouble free I'd forget about it. Go have fun.......

The mileage I can't speak to but the phone may be as simple as someone sitting in the car and playing with the radio. I remember when I was looking at a Jeep a couple years ago and I wanted to see if it would sync with my iPhone address book. The person who bought that jeep saw Mark's iPhone when they bought it.

Was this car ordered for you or bought off the lot?

Unless its in dealer inventory, probably no more than 6-7 miles depending how far they have go to fill up. I would call dealership switchboard and ask for Judy and see what happens. 24 miles is nothing major, but it's the principal. The phone pairing would set me off though.

I ordered the car. It wasn't a dealer inventory car. Car was delivered to dealer yesterday but they had to install door sills and spoiler so it wasn't ready for pickup until late this morning.

Easton, count your self as one of the fortunate few who had there car audited.. Judy with BGAP put 24 miles on your car and likely spent close to twenty hours with your car looking for defects.. You'll never know if she found any as they correct the problem and pull cars that are on the two week quality hold and see of it is a consistent issue that needs to be addressed. You would likely have to spend thousands to have this kind of attention given to your new car.. I requested my car be audited after my son and I started her for the first time at the end of the production line. Hoping I get lucky like you!

It might be the case that your car was audited in Bowling Green.

Scott, do you know for sure that Judy is the name of one of the auditors at BGAP? If so, the mystery is definitely solved!

Wow, I had never read about this before. If that's what happened, I feel extremely lucky and thankful! All the pain of waiting now seems well worth it.

I've only driven my new car about 80 miles so far but it is fantastic. I hope everyone reading this gets the same joy that I got today!

I was the first person to pair my phone. Can't check mileage because out of town. You will have a ton of fun in your Vette. I think it's the Greatest car on the planet and it's my third.

I feel certain Judy is one of the auditors. I remember my tour guide (Nathan) telling me her name. I'm sure she must enjoy her job!
Okay, thank you Scott.

Wow, it turns out that the OP was concerned about something negative just to find out he is actually one of the very few lucky, lucky guys!

Mine was the only one in dealer inventory and it had 6 miles on it and no phone was paired, so I might be a little concerned especially since you ordered it. Give them a call and ask, can't hurt. Then post some photos so we can see, have fun!

Tinting the windows, adding a stinger stripe and blacking out the front chrome piece on the grill next week but here she is from when I picked her up at the dealership.

Hmm somebody saying that they thought they heard someone else say the name Judy means "that it has to be a Judy at the auditor point"? If that is the case, then all is good. but what if that is not the case. There are a lot of what ifs" that could be asked. Heard the story about the young transport driver unloading a car while passing through his home state and taking his girlfriend for a ride?
