Add CNC stock LT1 head and new, sportier cams to the Stingray and you get an output of 470.84 rear wheel horsepower. That's about a 50 hp and 25 lb-ft improvement on the stock figures.!

Not bad for a few little upgrades.

That more power than my C6 Z06!!! Lots of folks said that GM "left a lot on the table" with the LT1, and this is becoming very apparent.

While that's a good improvement I don't call heads and cams little mods or much of an improvement for the dollar.

Add headers, CAI and a solid tune and you may get close to 500 RWHP!

One thing I noticed, the Max torque isn't much higher than another pull I saw with just headers and no tune. Looks like the majority of the gain with the top end work is in the higher rpm's. Great for the track but probably never felt on the street.

so u never pass 5K rpms on the street?

so tune gets you about 20wHP
Headers gets you about 25wHP
head and cam 40wHP

i have no clue what people r getting with CAI
but yeah seems these mods and u at 500wHP.. just a lil shy of the ZR1 wHP (30-40 shy)
not bad at all
