Hi everyone,
I am a bit confused on the launch control feature so I am asking the experienced owners with auto trans on this? According to the owners manual if I have a Z51 and MRC launch control will work from any mode? just hold the break, give full throttle and let the brake off and that is it?

I saw this earlier but that is with manual trans, I have auto, z51 and mrc and I am sort of confused just like CHIP on post #5 here http://www.stingrayforums.com/forum...ions/1207-launch-control-automatic-trans.html

Here's another GM training video on launch control and it mentions how to employ launch control with both a manual and an automatic.

Since I have z51 and mrc does it still have to be in track mode like she says or any mode like the manual says? Come on am I the only z51 with mrc that has used launch control in this forum?

is your auto with mrc? Did you have to tap the track selector 2 times, step on the brake, Gas and release brake? what was your 0-60 time?

No, I have a manual and just did it real quirk to see just remember it was fun just did it one time.
