Let's All Check in if you have a 06/02 TPW

OK, it's getting close and I couldn't find a Thread for us, so here it is! :)

Let's get started and talk it up, about 2 weeks +/- before our "Babies" are "Born".
Can't wait, My is 1st Vette, and what a Vette it is!

From a previous thread(re: a Black or Chrome wheels Poll) as sort of an introduction:
"I like the Machined actually, but they are Not available on the Z-51, so I went with Chrome, there is enough Black on The Red Knight already to make it look 'BAD', don't need anymore!
Still remember my Crager Chrome Mags on my 1964 1/2 Pale Yellow Mustang Fastback. Then they went on my 1966 Pale Yellow Dodge Charger. This C-7 is like both of those combined, it has the Mustang Fastback look from the side and the long back/trunk window just like the '66 Charger. I called it my "Loading Ramp", I know not very Sexy, but that is what it looked like. This will be my 50th Anniversary of my 1st New Car purchased in 1965 while in the Marine Corp, a very fitting 50th Anniversary Car indeed!"

You have almost the same Vette ordered as I do, except for the Color and the black wheels and a few other small items. Is yours an Auto or Manual trans.?
Several cars recently were built the week before their TPW, I've noted that in several places on this Forum. So you never know, ours may be built this Next week. That would be great, the sooner the better, as the 2015's will be rolling out the door in about 3 1/2 months.

The Red Knight should not take long at all to get to Rick Kendricks, ATL from Bowling Green once it is built, it's only 322 miles - less than a 5 hr. Truck ride Non-Stop with a Full load of 10, which is what they usually get coming in.

I'm getting the 7 spd manual. I noticed on the Kerbeck tracking page some orders slated for 6/2 are already at 3400, so you never know. Fingers crossed.

After the build I have to deal with the shipping to California and talking with my sales guy today he said delivery times have been problematic and it might be 4 weeks. I hope the rail backlog clears up soon.

The thread is born! ...TPW 6/2...

My build is a CGM Z51 2LT trim w/ kalahari interior, 7M, MRC, NPP exhaust, red calipers, and StingRay mats. Already got the black OEM Corvette car cover, the OEM splash guards ready to be installed, and the raised black-n-white checkered blocktile flooring in the garage. Praying for delivery to my courtesy delivery dealer the week before July 4th. That'll be a nice Independence Day surprise.

That's a beautiful Vette Rocketman! I like the checkered Floor idea, is that done a lot, I'm a Vette newbie? I've already started ordering a few items also: front and rear splash guards, Rear Bumper Fascia Protector, Battery Protection, Battery Tender and a Roof Panel Storage Bag, but it is OOS as of my order last night.

Yes, the checkered floor concept is done frequently. I've had previous floors painted black-n-white checkered, but this time I'm going with the tileblock to raise the floor to give it a unique look. The 9' x 12' area with edge trim will run about $550.

What is the size of the tiles and where are they bought?
I might consider it myself, if my Wife doesn't Kill me first! lol
Thank you!

12" square tiles. You can get different colors. You can get it in either raised coin pattern or diamond pattern design. Normally come in boxes of 27 to 30 tiles. The trim comes in boxes of 12 pieces (12" straight) with two 90 degree corner pieces. Good luck with the wife.!!.

I'm at 3000 as of today, anyone here have a sense where my production date my be now? Reading this thread it looks to me that once you get to 3000 it is about a month out from that date, is that about right?
That sounds about right, maybe 06/30. Your TPW comes out a few days after you get to 3000.

I have a 6/2 tpw also. Cyber gray z51coupe,7mt and black wheels. Its a 1Lt with performance exhaust and mag ride. Does anybody have a guess when our cars will start arriving at our dealers? I went the tile floor route instead of epoxy. I purchased from Racedeck and it turned out great. I'll see if I can upload a picture.
