I am in my 37th yr of selling Corvettes..am I an expert? By no means...do I have experience? Absolutely. I have seen Women and Men come to the dealership
or call me up and have anywhere from 1-4 color choices right up to the moment of their order. Heck I have seen grown adults change the color of their car cover on their order!
I do understand...it can get emotional when ordering a new Corvette...especially for the very first time. If I can give anyone just one bit of advice...it would be to view the colors you are considering in the Sunshine. I currently own my 14th Corvette, it is a Laguna Blue 2014 Stingray. Right this second at Criswell Chevrolet is a Laguna Blue Convt Stingray on the showroom floor. Now Criswell has a very nice showroom but every time I see certain colors under showroom lights I gasp at how it looks...but take that same color and put it under the Sun...and BOOM...it hits me and I never question why I like this particular color. So listen up...when deciding on Paint Color for your next vehicle...see it OUTSIDE in the Sun and don't judge from inside the showroom or a color chip. Trust me...much more drastic in person.
~Below are some examples of my Stingray in different light.
