Hi to all the members. We've been reading all the great topics on the forum for some time and decided to log in today. We were lucky enough to get our C7 Z51 LT2 Cyber Grey Metallic with Kalahari interior last October. It was exciting as ours was the first C7 our dealer received. They received two C7's that day but we took delivery of ours first! We felt like celebrities as the folks at the dealership were as excited as we were. We just love this car!! Hubby was nice enough to agree to an automatic so I can drive it, too!!

Greetings from a CA neighbor! Congratulations on your C7, and taking the first delivery of a C7 at your dealership! Which dealership did you use?

My order has almost bubbled to the top, so within the next two to three weeks we must decide if it will be a manual (what I really want) or an automatic (so the wifey can drive it, too). She isn't a car person, but it does make sense just in case she ever needs to drive it for some reason.

We used a dealer in Lake Havasu, AZ. We spend time in CA and AZ, and had checked with five dealers to see who was going to receive cars in the first allocation. That was a big plus for us. When we talked to the folks at Bradley in Havasu, they told us about the two they had coming. One was spoken for, the other was an allocation they built. It had everything we wanted, especially the Z51, and also the Magnetic Ride Control & Multi Mode Performance Exhaust. The Kalahari is the interior we wanted. Had wanted a Laguna Blue C7, but we took the Cyber Grey in exchange for getting our car last October! The automatic works very nicely, especially in Bay Area traffic. My hubby says the paddle shift is very responsive, you din't have to be in the manual shift mode to get into paddle shift function. Shifts in and out of V4 very smoothly with the automatic. You don't even know it' sharpening.
