I recently joined the Lone Star Corvette Club when I learned I was going to be the owner of a new C7. I've been a Member since May this year (before I placed my C7 order). They are the largest Corvette Club in the Nation. I was so impressed when I attended their Annual Banquet Dinner in May... personal invitation paid for by my Salesperson. I was so impressed by the Members and the organization as a whole. That same weekend, they held the Lone Star Corvette Classic at the Texas Motor Speedway. I've never seen so many Vettes!!! It was beautiful... hard to describe in words honestly. This year they are hosting many events, to include the Vettes and Jets where you can drive your Vette onto an aircraft carrier in the Gulf.

I'm just putting this out there for those of you who are in Texas to consider. Of course I don't think you have to live in Texas to be a Member. :) I've never met a nicer group of people... not pretentious... real, kind hearted people like those on this Forum.

If you're interested, you should check out their website and read their most recent newsletter to see their upcoming events. Here's the link: Home - Lone Star Corvette Club

Let me know if you decide to join so I can shake your hand someday. It would be FABULOUS to drive my Velocity Yellow C7 alongside you!!!:cool:

Did any of yall make it out to Track Day this year? We did and it was EMPTY - meaning.......we did run after run after run on TMS Nascar track with zero lines and zero wait time. Man it was fun.
