As we all know all cars are painted with the lower half of the rear bumper being black. Personally I Would rather it be body color (think triple black), which is the only color I can think of to prove my point. So is anyone thinking of having that part of the car repainted body color, or is it just me??

Last Friday, I saw an AW C7 with the rear valence painted white. It was dusk and I only noticed after the car drove by, so don't know what else they painted. I wasn't 100% sold on the look. Different. Not bad.

I think the carbon flash is so close to black, that black C7's look "triple black" at a casual glance, if that makes any sense.

I saw a picture of one painted red. I was not a fan. I like the contrast with it black.

When the C7 was unveiled this was my only concern, I thought that I would love it body colored. Then I saw a photo of an AW C7 with it painted white to match and frankly it just looked kind of odd. I've never considered the carbon flash out of place since. The contrast makes the rear end look sportier IMO.

I've seen this in carbon fiber and it looks sweet. Otherwise it is staying stock.

From the description, I didn't think I would like it. However, from the teaser pictures, it looks as if I do like it!

It sort of reminds me of a Storm Trooper.

I think it's a good balance and if you look closely you can see that it's weapon X kit (spoiler, diffuser, splitters). I went to see the car today at the shop but I couldn't get better pics because it was blocked in by cars.

I agree with rdslon01. Looks way better than it sounded. That is pretty damn sweet!

That is why I chose the black, it looks triple black, the dozen or so "black" grills blend in, a cleaner, less motion look to my preference. The C7 in contrasting colors is really busy looking. Either way, a great looking ride.

After considering several other colors and leaning toward a different color every week, I am now gravitating back toward a black exterior and wheels, but a red interior.

I agree rc, I did the same thing with LRG... to my eye the carbon flash has just a touch of green/gray in it so I prefer how the grills blend in instead of being right in your face.
