Thanks BigJoe. A couple of us met with Harlan Charles this afternoon and clarified that it is Dayton Sunrise Orange -- a different color than the previous 2005-06 Daytona Sunset Orange. There was no color sample provided, nor a picture showing the new color. All we were told is that it will be "delayed availability."

I must have odd tastes because I really liked the LRG color.
I liked the blue on the 2005-2006 vettes also.

I came very close to going with LRG. Matter of fact, if not for opinion of wife and co-workers I would have gotten it. Went with red instead. But I have a soft spot in my heart for LRG.

For me the tranny choice is very important. The dealer I ordered my LRG from had a PE convertible in stock. I would probably have bought that car, if it was a manual.

I performed a national search for LRG 7-speed convertibles and only discovered one, and it was a 1LT. I noticed that many dealers have also mistakenly(?) listed their PE convertibles as 7-speeds (at least 5 dealers).

I had my heart set on the HUD, so I had to order the 2LT and have to wait (like so many others)...

The wait's almost over...

There was no question when I first learned of all the colors. LRG with the Kalahari is the absolute most awesome combo!! So glad I got this color too-I love the Stingray!!

I too am taken with the LRG. I have had the car for about 2.5 months. In bright sunlight, the metallic flakes just explode. It almost looks like a different (just as awesome) color. I like the Kalahari top on this vert too. The two go together very well. I had never seen the LRG before I picked up the car I bought. The longer I have it, the more it grows on me. I also happen to like the Brownstone leather very much, but I am still on-the-fence with the microfiber inserts. I think I like them, but I don't know. True, this is an A6 (automatic) and truth be told, I would have preferred a 7 speed manual, but I remain pleased with it. It seems that we all have a story (or stories) on this forum.
