Wonder why the intake port surface is so rough? Wouldn't a smooth surface flow better? Or, does the rough surface cause necessary turbulence?

Very important for this engine : it have oil squirters and that's very good for the reliability under hard driving.
Good things also, the crankshaft is forged and the bearings are upgraded ones.
