What is the best synthetic oil and filter to use in the 2014 vette? How much oil goes in?

GM now factory fills the LT1 with Mobil 1. My C7 came with a promotional brochure from GM suggesting Mobil 1.

Z51 will take 9.8 quarts / non Z51 7 Quarts. 5W30 as printed on the oil fill lid.
