We would like to start something....I have several customers with C7's who would also like to have others to meet up with, and share stingray info. What can we do to get this going?

Erik
All interested just reply and subscribe to the Thread so they will receive the info for any activities we may plan. C7 Stingray suggested to have a meeting point in a middle point between Broward and Homestead but, there's two guys on the keys interested also. We would have to variate south/north so everyone could go. Ideas are welcome. I know there will be a Classic Car Show on "Pilot House", 13 Seagate Blvd, Key Largo, FL 33037 on Saturday Nov 1 (They have live music also) We could meet on Florida City and drive there together (like 25 miles). But if you guys have a better place, I'm in (is a freaking pleasure to drive anywhere!)

Why don't we also shoot for sometime in mid-November (maybe on Sat. 11/15 for example)? So folks have ample time to adjust their schedules and priorities too. I'm open to meeting up anywhere anytime but thought it would be fair for others if there is a middle ground somewhere. I also know a few C7 owners who do not frequent forums but may also participate depending on time/location.

The Cars & Coffee monthly meet in Boynton Beach always have C7 participants and the monthly Carolina Ale House in Doral gets C7 participants too... and chatting with C7 owners at both venues, there is good interest out there for a C7-specific gathering. I think this is a good start.

Whatever you guys decide. Is a good idea to plan with time ahead so people can plan the schedule. I think Doral is a good middle ground to start. Anyway I think we sholud post it here so people suscibed to the thread can receive a notification by email.

I'm definitely interested. I live in Pembroke Pines and am centrally located as far as going north or south.

I've attended a number Cars & Caffeine cruise-in's at Boynton Beach, and a couple at the Carolina Ale House in Doral. Both events are pretty good. Doral runs both the 1st & 3rd Saturday nights of the month. John at SpeedwearUSA runs the Boynton Beach event.

My suggestions:

Have a picnic get together at one of the pavilions at Markham Park. A call to the park to reserve the pavillion is all that is needed. There is no charge. Everyone brings their own food & drinks. Do it on a Sunday because there are a number of poor souls that work on Saturdays. Markham Park is centrally located and easy to reach on I-75, I-595, SR 84, and the Sawgrass.

The old Tower Shops cruise-in has relocated to Ruby Tuesday on SR 84. Check out Cruisin South Florida - South Florida's Hottest Classic Car Shows! for more info. (including cancellations due to weather). This event runs every Friday evening from 6 PM to 10. I'm sure if there were enough participants, the organizer, owner, Sid would give us our own parking area.

That's pretty much my .02 cents worth. Standing by.....

I'm in as well. Carolina Ale House sounds good, as well as tower shops. Let's get this going for next month.

Yup! Caroline Ale House on 11/15 evening is good for me...

But also how does Sunday Nov. 9 sound? Perhaps a morning meet (ala Corvettes and Coffee) at 8:00AM onwards.

I have a few suggestions... for example when we used to do EuroSundays we alternately held them monthly at either:

1) the old Bank United lot next to Starbucks in Aventura @ corner of 191st St and Biscayne... this was an excellent spot!

2) the Panera/Starbucks lot @ The Fountains of Miramar (just west off I-75 and Miramar exit) but this area is hidden from the main road so it's easy for non-locals to get kinda lost.

3) I also suggest Corner Bakery just west of I-75 and Pines Blvd... nice lot where all the C7's can line up right in front and it doesn't get overly congested in this part of the Whole Foods shopping area.

Any other ideas or thoughts, feel free to chime away... let's get this rolling.

OK. Maybe is a short notice but, I think we sholud try our first one on Sunday Nov2 . The weather seems to be great and we could do a "post-halloween show up". I understand not everyone would make it but is a Sunday and at least we could meet and start this idea:cool:. so..... Who's in for Sunday Nov 2?
I don't really care where are we going. We can decide that part later.
