Normally I'd say take the Vette! However, having lived through many love bug seasons in Louisiana and Florida both, I agree! Rent something that someone else has to wash. 
My answer to a road trip in the C7..
So I've got to teach a one day class for BMW in Orlando on the new 4 series next week. The trip will be about 450 miles, all interstate, and in two overnight hotel parking lots. I have no XPEL and would painters tape the front for the front end. The vette would go thru a few tanks of gas too...
So is there an alternative?
