So my TPW was 9/8 as of yesterday and then I checked the Chevy Order Tracking website 20 minutes ago and it said that my car is shipped/produced. I talked to an agent and they confirmed that the car was born today as of 4am! Are they really working that hard at the plant or was the car produced yesterday and they updated the website this morning? In any event, I'm thrilled!
A few quick accessory questions:
(1) I'm ordering the GM Splash Guards and Cargo Security Shade. Glen E and others have pointed out the Lloyd's rear cargo carpet is nicer than the GM produced carpet. Does the Lloyd's carpet have the necessary holes for the security shade or should I just go with the GM Premium Cargo Carpet? Not sure how these two accessories fit together.
(2) I want to put a front stretch cover on the front of the car when I drive it to Columbia, SC to have XPEL & CQuartz placed on the car. Do you all recommend the Novistretch front bumper mask or again should I go with the GM front end car cover?
(3) The indoor/outdoor cover question has been covered in other forums but I just wanted to check if there was anything in the materials of the GM cover that made it worth the 400 bucks. Seems really high for something that costs about 20 bucks to make.
Jealous of all of you who are out driving your cars right now but looks like my wait is almost up.
