It all started when I saw the first C7 picture on the intranet. The General designed a masterpiece that is second to none!! I'm grateful for what I have and the wait was a short one.

1. 27 Jan 2014: Joined Stingrayforums.com, Oustanding Members, Knowledgeable, Informative, Easy going people, and some would probably give you the shirt off their back, just don't ask for their C7 Fob.

2. 19 Feb 2014: Secured my C7 loan at 1.99% through Navy Federal Credit Union, really nice people to work with.

3. 20 Feb 2014: Found the exact C7 I was looking for at MacMulkin Chevrolet, Nashua, NH. The first time I called, I requested to talk with Mr. Tommy Thompson Jr. (MacMulkin Chevrolet & Mr. Thompson were highly recommended on Stingrayforums) This was the first time I've ever purchased a vehicle over the phone and Tommy made the transaction so smooth, it was like I was sitting at his desk working the deal. Anytime I called with any concerns, Tommy would always return the call ASAP with the answer. The dealerships around my area wanted MSRP + $$$$$$, and were limited on stock, 1 to 5 Vettes only. Tommy gave me an "Outstanding Deal"

4. 21 Feb 2014: Received FedEx package with all required documents from Tommy, returned FedEx package same day.

5. 2 Mar 2014: Intercity Lines delivers my Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 to my front door.

6. My favorite color Torch Red with Jet Black interior, 2LT Package, 6-Speed Paddle Shift Automatic Trans, Chrome Wheels, Performance Exhaust, Transparent Roof, Navigation, Red Brake Calipers, Battery Protection.

Now I will begin a new journey, enjoy every second I get to wheel my C7 everyday.

Rick,
Congrats man! She's a beauty! Love the red Vette on the red brick driveway!

Re: NFCU... They must really want us to have Vettes. I got 1.99% thru them too. Beat out both alternatives I checked on by a couple (whole) points or more. They did the same for me on my first Vette, a '93 red vert I bought back in '97. Always been good to me. I love them.

Thanks everybody I appreciate the kind words! Yesterday when the Vette arrived I was wore out, woke up at 0400 in the morning and I didn't hit the rack until 0200 that night. Like a youngin at Christmas time.

regguy1, Intercity Lines was a great company to work with. Mike Cuny was the driver of this rig, squared away. He has been driving for 28 years and has delivered a few of Jay Leno's vehicles. I look at it this way, a trip from NC to NH to NC, gas money, hotel, flying objects on the highway heading straight for my C7, and this old Marine gets tired on long trips!! The C7 was delivered to my house, I felt like a million bucks when I walked out my front door! Yes sir it was worth it!

Congratulations Rick. Beautiful ride!!! Liked your presentation of what happened when, and am especially glad that our forum's dealership supporting vendor, MacMulkin, treated you exactly as per their/Tommy's reputation.

Now, as you say, time to enjoy your ride!!!
