I finally received my album on Jan 21st (took delivery at the Museum on Dec 16th) . Overall, it looks really great. The only criticism I have about it is that some of the pics are out-of-focus. I think the museum needs to get a new camera. It's unacceptable that you have to look at fuzzy pics when you pay $700 for the album. I'm glad that I did get the album, but just unhappy about the quality of some of the pictures.

The album measures 15x11.5 inches. There are 35 photos over the 20 pages. The paper is a heavy gloss suitable for the photos and feels like a coffee table book.

Picture of the leather cover with the flags (the quarter is there to give you a sense of the size):

The first page is the Letter of Authenticity signed by the Executive Director of the Museum, Wendell Strode. We stayed at his Bed & Breakfast.

Each page ranges from multiple pictures

to full page pictures.

Here's one example of the out-of-focus pictures (there are several of them):

The final page is the picture they take of you and the car outside the Museum:

Overall, I'm glad I have the album, but I don't know if I would do it again unless the Museum gets a better camera and/or a better photographer.

Thanks for posting. Tend to agree I would expect all photos to be sharp though the one in your album of the final testing may have been done to reflect what is going on to your car at that time. The car is on a dyno and really rocking along at that point from what I saw with my RedHot NCM pickup.

True, but that doesn't explain the other fuzzy pics in the album.

I have also purchase the album of my build, I'm also a semi-pro photographer and there should be no reason for any photos in the album to be out of focus, if I was taking photos of this build I would have taken more that one shot of each scene at different camera setting, because of being in a uncontrolled environment. After reading the letter of authenticity it give me the impression that it wasn't a professional photographer but a member of the NCM staff.

I have seen several photo albums put together by the National Corvette Museum, and each one has been fantastic. If you have not already done so, give Lori or Shane a call and ask for their help (1.800.53.VETTE). They could well have other pictures their photographer took of your car, and perhaps can fix this.

When doing the Buyer's Tour 2 weeks ago, in addition to our guide, there was another NCM staff member with a camera taking pics for an album of the car 2 behind ours in line. Due to the parts shortages, the line was moving VERY slow (this was the week they shut down the line one day) - we had a lot of time to chat.
The photographers are NCM staff members.
There are specific shots they are tasked with getting.
They all seem to have identical cameras (our guide had the same model)
The folks I was with told me they take about 150+ pictures (multiple of each required shot) - take around 150 pics to get the 40 or so used in the album.
The memory card contents are then sent to the company that produces the album, and they choose the pics included - this is NOT done by NCM folks.

I would recommend you politely voice your concerns to the NCM - they truly place customer satisfaction as a priority, and would want to know if their chosen vendor is not performing up to snuff. (I realize I am presuming that there exist in focus alternative pics to the out of focus ones chosen for your album - but as a former pro photographer - these are autofocus cameras - hard to believe an entire series would be out of focus)

I have also purchased the photo album to go along with my buyer's tour next week. I will be pretty ticked off if any of the photos are of poor quality. For the price you pay for this service, a professional photographer should be taking the photos, and quality control should have noticed the issue and adjusted the photos or the price. There is absolutely no excuse for that.
