My Stingray should be arriving in a few weeks. I plan to wash, clay then use Blackfire total polish and seal with a DA polisher, followed by Blackfire Wet diamond all finish paint protection. Finish up with crystal seal per the Glen e protocol.

My question is about the lights. Can or should you use the total polish and seal and/or Wet diamond all finish paint protection on the lights?

I have searched but could not find a definitive answer.

Thank you for your help.

A good polish that's easy to apply and can be used on glass or the paint is "Klasse" it's made in Germany.
It would be a good choice for your lights, also good for a quick shine on the paint. Google the name

opticoat or any of the coatings will not protect the lights from rocks, only xpel or a film will do that, if you just want them to stay clean, any sealant like I recommended above will get it done...

Get one of those plastic car storage bubbles and lock it away in a garage for 20 years... "joking"! :p

I would use a good coating like opti coat or get expel installed on them. My last car had a coating and never had any damage to the lights and the bug juice just wiped right off.

I had the opticoat pro applied, but no expel, and I regret not having the expel installed, as I have sand divots on the nose of my car now. I must say, the opticoat does not protect paint from sand chips, and if you want to protect it, you must put a clear bra, or expel, or something on it. The paint on these cars is thin and weak. nothing at all like the good quality paint they used to use.

Thanks for all the replies. Will look into getting expel. Need to see if there are any installers in Ct.

For what it's worth, I just put one coat of the Klasse all in one and three coats of there sealant and the car looks absolutely fantastic. I have the arctic white with chrome wheels. They say this stuff should last 6-12 months. Feels like glass.
