As Tadge Juechter said (though he got a lot of disbelief when he said it two months ago), you get better then ZR1 performance at a $35,000 discount. Love this kind of progress!

Excellent work Corvette team!

It's unreal on so many levels.

Just 9 months ago, if someone told me a new sports car was coming to market. It had 650HP/650TQ. Just over 3500lbs. World class materials, including CF & extensive use of aluminum, including frame. State of the art interior and seats. An innovative chassis design with enough strength to chop the top off and still handle the power. 5 year/100K powertrain warranty. And, more than likely, no gas guzzler tax.

ALL THAT, for under $70K base price...

We live in a golden era!

Wish I could afford it. 60K for my 2014 2LT pushed me to my limit!

Note that the Z06 base price is $78,000 for the coupe, $83,000 for the convertible ( + $995 shipping/freight), and yes, it is a screaming bargain!

Oops! I meant, "ALL THAT, for under $80K base price (hardtop)..."
