Hey y'all. I'm new to this forum but have been lurking for a while now. I've ordered a 3LT Z51 a few weeks ago and am hoping for a spring baby. My first Corvette was a 1973 L-82 that I bought in 1987 (and still own). Thanks to all of you for the great information!

Where did you order from? What sort of timeline did they give you? What allocation did they claim?

It was ordered through Gardner GM. They didn't give me a timeline because I told them I don't want it until next spring when the weather gets better here. As for allocation, they didn't make any claims.

Oooo is there something I should know? The first one they had in I took out for a drive and decided I need one too... They didn't seemed too worried about getting me one but it did sound like it would be 4 or 5 months before it arrives.

Welcome aboard Vortex. I'm sure a spring date should be possible and the dealers will be sourcing from other dealers and lots of US cars by that time. There are currently 8 for sale on Autotrader, some Canadian and some are US cars (although all are HIGHLY overpriced, including a dealership in Quebec wanting $89,900 - WOW.) What color did you order? Other specs?

I ordered a cyber grey 3LT Z51, 7 speed, magnetic ride, performance exhaust, transparent roof, suede interior trim, cf mirrors and spoiler, with black wheels and red interior and callipers... and thousands less than MSRP.

I'm just bitter about my "order". Placed it in Aug, have no idea at all where I'm at now and no one can tell me a thing. I'm waiting for spring as well, but I'd like to know that is happening for sure. If not, I can take my order elsewhere but with no info it's hard to make a decision.

Sometimes I think it helps to be from a small town and know the dealer I guess. I'll only believe it'll be here in 3 or 4 months after its at home in the garage though...

Ya I do, but it doesn't mean anything apparently. Because dealership and GM phone line can't tell me anything. I'm assuming the order has been placed but does not mean it's been accepted or in line for any sort of production.

Edited: also, the USA dealers here that can look up those codes can't check into cdn orders, sucks

I hear ya. I just want to know it'll actually be here come spring, if not that's fine at least I can figure something else out. As for our mayor, he's going to be out next prime minister lol.
