My name is Nick, I'm a 28 year old Marine living in Florida. I just put in my order for a 2LT AW w/ red interior, Performance Exhaust, CF dash, red calipers, Z51 spoiler. Can't wait to finally have my dream car.

I think everyone considering the purchase of a new Corvette should visit these forums and spend a minimum of several days understanding the purchase process, and the experiences that others have gone through.
The purchase process, as we have all come to appreciate, is quite unique relative to most other purchases that we'll make, and can lead to a great deal of frustration if you don't understand "how things work".

I 100% agree with you. I am SO glad I found this forum, as I have learned so much from everyone. I have never owned a Corvette before, much less ordered a new one. I came in as a newby with all kinds of stupid questions, and everyone treated me kindly and gradually educated me on the car and the ordering process. I knew the correct questions to ask my small dealer, and placed an order last month that already has a TPW of 4/28. THANK YOU STINGRAY Forum! I couldn't have done it without you.
New here also. Never owned a corvette before. Ordered my z51, 2lt, triple black, performance exhaust, magnetic ride control on feb 17. Tracking order every day and still just saying "order placed." Where are people finding status # such as 1100?

You can ask the dealer to email you a copy of the GM Workbench or you can do chat on the same website where you see the "order placed" message.

Thanks Rick! I talked to USAA already and hopefully they can get me the best deal. I have perfect credit and have had them for insurance for the last 11 years.
