We've (TheDoubleAA.com) been working on this for a while and finally got time to finish it up today. We designed a Hurst style shifter with short throw and also have different options for the new shifter as well!

In my opinion it shifts amazingly now. I've not stalled it since I installed it and seems to shift a heck of alot smoother.

Let me know what ya'll think!

It looks great but I have the hurst shifter in my mustang and it's horrible.... I know it's a different car but I would need to drive a C7 with it before I add it to my car. I really regret it in the mustang and will be changing it at some point

Where did you buy it and what other mods are out lol

actually its a custom design and just used a hurst rod basically. We made it ourselves over at TheDoubleAA.com

It is sooooo much funner to shift too. I've not stalled it since putting in the new shifter.
I'm considering installing a short throw myself, to tighten the shift pattern, but I'm confused by your statement that you haven't stalled since installing it. Can you explain?

The only times I've stalled a manual is in 1st gear, due to improper clutch release at too low an engine RPM. I've never stalled a manual while shifting.

I like the Hurst chrome shaft and white cue ball look, but it seems quite a bit taller than stock. Wouldn't the extra length actually increase the throw? I'm considering the MGW shifter in the spring, but once installed the height looks stock. It is also a short throw shifter.

I was wondering the same thing...
