New member here from Dallas. I am a torn "hot-rodder"; dabbling in traditional hot rods and now with the C7 Z51. Big difference in technology that 78 years presents between a 1936 Ford pickup (with 400 SBC V8) and the C7. C7 is the daily driver and the pickup is for weekend fun.

No climate control in the storage unit. The unit stays atmospheric heated. The 36 used to live in my garage which is climate controlled but once the C7 came to live at my house, the truck has been relegated to the storage unit. The temperature in the storage unit is not too bad but does have a tendency to evaporate the gas in the carb on the truck so getting is started after not running for a couple of weeks is sometimes a challenge.

Welcome "Flyfisher1!" Love your StingRay and love your '36 pickup too.
The hot rod is a pretty fun vehicle but in a totally different world than the C7. Both are fun but the vette is way more comfortable. Driving a 78 year old pickup with no A/C in Texas on a 100 degree day tends to make for an uncomfortable ride. Having both vehicles keeps me balanced between respect for new and old.

My buddy and I are actually going to upstate Arkansas to fish for Brown Trout in the White River at the end of next week. Undetermined at this time if the C7 will transport us or my buddy's wife's new Lexus. In any case the truck will stay home. Fish Fishing Northern pike Fisherman Brown trout

How now, brown trout? Q: Hey, what happens when you throw a brown trout into the White River?

A: It gets wet! 0.0 J/k. The White River is awesome. Perfect time of year to be there. Ever floated The Buffalo?

Never floated the Buffalo but heard its good. Floated the White and Norfolk a couple of times. It's still grasshopper time up there and hammering big brown on foam hoppers is pretty fun.
