I read all the info I could find to read after the debut at the Detroit Auto Show. I have a 07 BMW Z4M roadster and after reading everything it seemed like one thing was for sure....the Beemer would make a good trade in. I took delivery of my torch red, 3LT, Z51 rocket Dec. 13th...to date I have just short of 10,500 miles on it. I just took a road trip to Palm Desert, Ca. last month but I enjoy my new Vette everyday on my way to work. Instead of having the "wish I didn't have to go to work today" blues, I get in my car and in 35 minutes the world is right and I'm grinning from ear to ear. Being raised a son of a used car dealer I've driven countless vehicles but nothing comes close to the C7. I loved my 65 coupe and had a few years in a 76 T top but this is from another planet...I'm looking forward to sharing info with all the C7 owners...Gentlemen, start your engines....KIM

Kim, welcome aboard. Excellent choice of C7 color, and you are correct it is a rocket. 10,500 miles on your Vette, that is a lot, what is your feedback? Tires, Oil in your air filter, anything you can think of that you may have read on the forum that other members had problems with. Thank you.

Rick, Tires seem to be wearing OK. To expect 40K on these is asking for a lot I'm sure but they are wearing evenly. I was told by a guy that works were I do that these tires compared to say a Pirelli would be a little softer of a ride. It looks to me that no mfg is doing more than half the normal warranty as long as the front tires are smaller than the rear. I haven't noticed anything mechanical. Where I do have an issue is in the cold weather, the screen wont transmit a command until its a little warmer inside the vehicle. Great to be among some folks who have the passion for great sports cars. Gotta go jump in my car and drive 38 miles to home. And this will be the first time for the top off in the NW....

I sounds like we need to give KIM's thread back to celebrating the new C7 and we can post a new thread..

Apologies for the diversion from the topic.

If you are in the Seattle area, have you looked into SIR and the road course there? There is another in Shelton as well. It appears as though you need to be part of a group that has an event scheduled. If you have any info I'd love to hear about it.

Joshg, I live in Bremerton but I work in Fife. The C7is my commuter car. If you are in the Fife area stop into Baydo's RV, I'm there 5days a week, we can compare notes, coffee is on me..Kim
