Been lurking for a few months and finally took the plunge, ordered yesterday. This will be my first Corvette. So many factors came into play: the styling of the new C7, not ready to retire, its my turn to buy (I never sell though), and I feel like I can afford it. My other rides are a 1970 AMX, a 2007 Suzuki M109R, and my '99 F250 tow vehicle. Oh yeah, I'll be giving up my trusty '92 Acura Integra. The bike may go as I'm far more comfortable on 4 wheels, but we'll see. Anyway, so much great information here, thanks to all who provide it. I'll be asking for progress but will give it a few weeks. My biggest hurdle was selecting a color; started at Laguna Blue, changed to Cyber Gray, and ended up with white. Anyway, again, great site, thanks for having me.

I am up in the shreveport/bossier area. M109R is a great bike, I am trying to get rid of my 2012 fury to free up some bills for mods on the vette.

Well let me answer some replys:
- TAS62: Thank you. I also almost went with the Lime Rock Green too because my AMX and my truck are both green. Thought it would be neat to have all three green but went with something that might be easier to keep clean. Not sure about that but I'll find out.
- jsvette: Thanks and your welcome. There has been some very useful info on this site that I've used so far and I'm sure more to come. With more Vette experience I may even be able to add to it.
- Texas2Gun: Thank you very much.
- U.S. Marine: Thank you and pics posted below (if I can get it to work).
- H2OStingray: I also thought about selling the bike, but even if I don't ride it looks so good just sitting there. And I've got a whole bunch of goodies I've been collecting to put on it. As for mods, I'll probably do like I did with my truck...wait until the warranty is over. But I never did anything to it anyway and the Vette might also stay stock.

I'm the 2nd owner of the AMX, purchased in Jan. 1972, was daily driver through 1980, put aside due to kids, and finally finished body, interior and drivetrain in 2005.
