Hi folks, (very temporarily) newest owner here.

Wife fell in love with C7 quickly, so with spring we finally hit local dealerships last weekend to peruse. The few stock versions weren't perfect for us but the visits did enable honing of her 'perfect wish list'. Came home and scoured 500 dealerships on line and what do you know, her perfect car was sitting in a showroom out in Ohio. Called dealer (Rick Conti) yesterday morning to confirm they still had it, then jumped a plane to Columbus. Arrived 1p, paperwork done by 2:30, then drove eight of the most pleasurable Turnpike hours ever tinkering with menu's and blueteeth while watching countless folks pursue and pull even with me along the way...felt like personal escorts. Arrived home 515-miles-on-the-dealer's-tank-of-gas later (holy shit!) at 11p with wife and sons pacing at the door like Christmas. Haven't seen the car or wife since, think I'm still married and scored big points but somehow dropped a peg on her love-list. If anyone's seen a redhead in Laguna Blue please call :)

Really glad I found this site, super-informative and we'll be revisiting often. I know some folks would cringe at putting so many miles on the car so quick but we didn't buy it for the garage, it's gonna see the Jersey Shore a lot. Great to find such a fun group!

blbpdsusa, welcome aboard. First drive and a great story, I'm with you on "we didn't buy it for the garage", I'm going to drive the wheels off our C7 also.

We're in Burlington County, a tiny town with log cabins hidden in the Pine Barrens between Philly and the shore.
Few pics attached (hope they're re-sized and not gigantic), I'll try to take a better shot soon for the April contest (yes, redhead included!)

Welcome blbpdusa! I bought my first Vette, an '08 C6 Black Beauty Z06, off the showroom floor at Burlington Chevy. I too searched and searched for the perfect Vette, I know, I know, yes even eBay!! But that's where it was listed and I was lucky they weren't too far away. I now have a C7 in Arctic White, I'm in EHT just about 10 miles south west of Atlantic City. I look forward to seeing you around the shore cause I bought mine to drive too!

Congrats and welcome! Arctic White in Burlington County too! Ordered mine from Kerbeck to guarantee I got my perfect car. Love that you didn't buy it for the garage either; these cars are made to be driven. Hope to see you BOTH on the road!
