Looks like a nice place here. Have owned a few Vettes in my life, C2, C3 current, C5 (2), C6 current, and I am anticipating a C7 in the future. Would like to see what a wide-body will look like before I take the plunge.

Welcome Norm. I know you are not the only one who would like a "wide bodied" C7. We shall see, for a comment from the Corvette"/
Executive Chief Engineer, Tadge Juechter, might not be positive when he said, when we brought out the wide-bodied version, it killed base model sales. However, his comment could be read "in reverse," in that GM's profit on the more expensive wide bodied cars was greater than on the entry model, and maybe that was just a factual observation, not a self-critical statement/not a predictive one.

I can see where a wide body would hurt the base model sales, but I don't think the total overall sales were hurt when the C6 GS came out, what 50% or more of their sales were GS's? Hope one does hit the streets.
