I'm new to this forum and have recently put down my money on a C7. I know nothing about the process. All I've been told by the dealer is that he was allocated 30 and since I purchased a 2014 Camaro SS for my son, I was going to be the first order they placed. I was told 12-14 weeks wait after they placed the order but no one would say when that would be. If anyone could enlighten me, in any way, on the process I would greatly appreciate it. Excuse me, but I'm skeptical on the things I've been told by the dealer. Believe it or not, I've been lied to before. Thanks.

hello im bob from chicago im new to the site , i was on a list since feb and #10 , on a list that has grown to thirty plus they just took my order and gave me my d number which they call it . im stoked delivery should be end nov, just called said carbon fiber roof on back order so i will be getting transparent because i ordered the duel package , well i didnt at first but added it because i dont want any hold ups , so we shall see im looking forward to some great conversations in here chevy rocks ....

As Chip noted you should have been given an order number from the GM Workbench system if your dealer submitted your order. It strikes me a bit strange that they indicated they have 30 allocated and yours will be the first order they placed. With the demand for the C7 most dealers placed their first customer order back in June as soon as the process opened up. I wish you every success and welcome to this forum!
