I posted this in a different section, didn't see the intro section at first. Anyway, my two stingrays.

Currently stationed at Fort Bragg in NC, the 2014 is my 3rd corvette. I've had the '72 for about 8 years, I also had a C6 Vert for a few years but never really fell in love with the C6. So far I've had no issues falling in love with the C7 though! Amazing car.

Welcome to the forum Matthew! You have some beautiful Corvettes there. That Nova in the background looks pretty sweet too!

Matthew, welcome aboard and congrats on your C7 masterpiece. You have nice HotRod collection, of the 66 & 72 which one did you normally drive the most? I've thought the side pipes look cool, they fit your Vette perfect!! I was going to put a set on my 70 Camaro, but it turned out to be a pain in the six finding the correct headers to fit.

Ahhh, well the Vette is a lot easier to drive with power steering, it's also a lot quieter believe it or not. The Nova is set up as a strip car, was my Uncles car until he passed away, he owned it for a lot of years and I don't believe hardly ever drove it let alone race it. But it has no power steering, I believe super 44 flowmasters maybe. It's obnoxiously loud. Both are horrible on gas 383 strokers. The Nova has a slap shifter in it. But I guess to answer your question, if my daughter wants to go with the wife and I we drive the Nova, if not, it's a Vette. Land vehicle Vehicle Car Motor vehicle Hood

Sold the challenger SRT and bought the Ram. Thatwas also a very fun car, but I'm a Vette guy in the end.

Nice collection of Bowtie's Matthew, and welcome to the forum. Tell me about the hood on that 72. It looks like it it's one that came from an earlier gen. vette.

It's a "stinger" hood, I believe out of ecklers. They come unpainted. They are too long for the 68-72 cars so you have to remove the wiper door and have it shaped to fit. But once it's done I think it looks great.
