I called GM 2 weeks ago requesting info.

This is simething that is not available at this time on any 2014s. It may be available in the future as an update.

If Corvettes are the top of the Chevy Line why doesnt this car have it when others Do???

Well if you have an iPhone with Siri she can do that for you. That good enough?

Its ok. But imagine u get a text and it is read out loud for you while driving and then u can respond without having to do much if anything.

The alert feature is the thing i was looking for

My ford synch does this in my explorer. When you first connect the phone via bluetooth it asks you if its ok to download your phonebook and also if you would like to enable it do read your texts. Honestly it worked perfect with my iphone but I have a ton of issues with Synch and my galaxy S3. like playing music through BT. If I have similar problems in my c7 I will go back to an iphone. got my Vin # today by the way now the quesiton is how long do I have to wait!
