This thread will be locked until we have some 2015's in the hands of owners. Like the 2014 model year thread here are the established guide lines:
"What's allowed:

Factual accounts of issues you encounter as a real owner of a real car. Provide as much detail, pictures, and documentation as you are able to talk about the issue.

Factual accounts or updates regarding resolution of issues that you or your dealer provided to solve a problem with your Stingray. If you solve a problem and post a separate update, please edit your original post that it was resolved and reference the post with the update if possible.

What's not allowed (This will be strictly enforced):

Comments about other model year Corvettes (even if they may relate to current equipment.)
Stories or issues you read about on other forums.
Posting about a problem "your friend" had with their car.
Posting that "your car is fine" or "I didn't have that problem."

The intent of this thread is to collect data and provide information for people who own a 2015 Corvette Stingray. Hopefully we will see both problems and resolutions and allow a place for folks to learn how to deal with issues that they encounter. If you can provide content information (equipment group, options, etc.) about your car that would be welcome. If you can provide photos of the issue or video of the behavior, that would be welcome. If are willing to post your VIN number, that would be helpful so that others with VIN's in a nearby range can relate.

Let's see if we can keep this thread on topic and make it a useful place for new and would be owners to learn what is going on."

AC System has gone out - 2015 Z51 Coupe

Took delivery in 2015 Z51, LT3 Coupe on Aug 27. 175 miles now on car. AC system just broke. Only blowing hot air at your feet. Does not matter if it is in Auto or not. Unable to change the direction of the airflow (from feet to vent mode). Anyone else experiencing this issue? Dealer won't have top tech in until Monday. Houston is to hot to drive without AC right now! Any advice would help....

tj; We have seen some MY 2014 cars that had a leak in the AC system allowing the refrigerant to leak out. It is possible that your system may need a new tube or component and be recharged. There is dye placed in the refrigerant that will show the tech where the problem is if the problem is a leak or rupture. Good luck and keep us posted on what you find out.

Chip - thanks for the info. Lo and behold, I start my Stingray on Saturday morning to take it to the dealer for technical analysis and the Climate Control System is working. Dealer ran diagnostic check and reported that there were 2 voltage codes; one for the Infotainment System and one for the Climate Control System. They have no idea what caused the issue. Obviously not happy because now we have the dreaded "intermittently not working issue ". Dealer told me to bring it to them right away the next time it happens. As my Wife said, the next time it will stop working will be in the middle of the AZ dessert. I'd rather know it is broken and can be repaired. Plus the car was delivered with a scratch that can't be buffed out. Close to calling GM to come and pick it up and build me a new one. This is out 5th Corvette...not starting our well this time!

not sure if this meets the thread guidelines, edit or delete if it doesn't. took delivery of my '15 8-29. Seat ventilation seems like it was ventilating substantially more during the first couple days. I can feel something turn on now but there seems to be very little to no ventilation circulating.

There has been a fair amount of discussion regarding the seat ventilation system. It seems to work best in more humid versus dry environments, if you have your AC also pumping out at the floor level vs primarily at the face level, impacted by the porosity of the clothing you are wearing, etc. Possibly the circumstances and combination of these variables were different the first couple of days vs now for you. That would be especially true if your AC seems to be blowing just as cold now as when new.

Over the weekend I noticed my 2015 has a miss in it, I can feel it when I push the gas pedal down in high gear, my friend had a snap on scanner he pulled the codes but I'm having a hell of a time finding codes that look like these. P26C8, P12E3, P12E7, P12EB, P12F4, P12F8.

Does anyone have a clue I would like to repair it myself I can't get an appointment until next monday.

I always first start by insuring the plug wires are properly seated at both ends. It is probably much more complicated than that, but worth a shot.

I plan on doing that asap, my appointment isn't until monday, I hate like hell to drive something that isn't running right.

I did come across a handy site for finding GM trouble codes I looked mine up they are minor, they are from me pulling the fuses to open the NPP all the time.

It's for all years anyone can benefit by finding the codes they might have. http://www.silveradosierra.com/engine/gm-diagnostic-trouble-codes-self-help-t145778.html

You will find a page showing how to find your GM car it's easy once you do it.

The Climate Control issue......new update. Took our 2015 Z51 back to the dealer last Wednesday as they wanted to run some tests. Also told them the manual transmission is popping out of first gear when taking off. They held the car till Friday, updated he software on the infotainment system, said they could not get the car to pop out of first gear and handed us the keys. My wife starts the car and it is blowing hot air on our feet. Drive it back into service area, tech comes out, hooks computer to car. It is dumping our malfunction codes like hitting triple 7's on a nickel slot machine. They have kept the car over he weekend. Only 180 miles. Will let y'all know what the outcome is. GM rep still has not called us back. Not at all very happy. This is our 5th Corvette. Seems that the factory should be communicating directly with a long term customer like us!

I have had my 2015 Convertible for about a month and have had the top down on some chilly nights already. The BMW Convertibles that I have owned had a Convertible heat/air conditioning mode when the top was down. With the Stingray I have to increase the heat to about 80 degrees to stay warm. Shouldn't the car do this by itself if it senses the actual temperature and adjusts to it accordingly when I have my temperature set on 72 degrees?

If you have the temp set at 72 that is what you will get.

Probably the way the air is distributed is different between your BMW and the Stingray. You might try sending the air only to your upper body or face and see it the "72" degree setting is adequate, or you might also have to set the fan speed higher as well.

Hi everyone,

I have a 2015 2LT 7 speed. I have noticed in sport mode theme, the halo around the tachometer only comes on sometimes. I can shift from first to second at the same RPM, sometimes the tachometer will glow orange to red, other times nothing. I do not have the 500 miles on it yet for the tachometer redline display to change and not sure if that has anything to do with it. Any help would be much appreciated
