I was driving down the freeway in Southern California and saw this gold C7! I am thinking it is a wrapped car? Maybe the next James Bond car for a remake of the movie Gold Finger? Has anyone else ever seen one like this? Very unique!
PlastiDip maybe? Nah. Really looks like an eccentric expensive paint job (but forgot to do the calipers?). Are you sure you're not just pulling' our collective leg, ICU LQQKIN, and photoshopped it? How'd you get such a good picture at freeway speed? It does look like a movie car, or some show biz celeb's!
It's more than likely a wrap, you could never get plastidip to reflect like that. I saw a similar wrap on a Jag F-Type last year at a local show. They look good from 10 feet, any closer and it's obvious that it's a wrap.
This is the actual photo taken out the window of my car. (Not my C7). I was shocked when I saw it and scrambled to get my phone out for the picture. It was taken on the 91 freeway in Riverside county ... not many celeb's out in that neck of the woods! But I agree, it could be a movie prop car. Naw, just think someone thought it was cool! Not to my liking, but then again, to each his own.
This car was a Torch Red Vette (I think). Look closely just it front of the windshield under the visible part of the hood. Torch Red to me. Also JS caught it - Hang up!
And this my friends is why many native Californians among other reasons, are moving out of state as well....... Of those remaining, it's usually the result of family ties.
