You can again register for a public Bowling Green Assembly Plant tour. $7/person. When you go on line, you can reserve up to 19 spots, though you need to provide a name for each one. Reserve your tour here:

Sorry but cell phones, no camera, must wear shoes that are "closed toe'd (no thongs, nor sandals), no back packs, no fanny packs, or other containers (and they are real strict about all this). Also, no children UNDER 7 years of age.

These tours are included with your R8C Museum Delivery option. These tours resume for the public on Monday, October 14th.

Here's tonight's Bowling Green plant tour re-opening TV segment (after 12 second ad):

Notice the comment about adding additional jobs for a performance engine division. Looks like the next Z06/07 will have its engine either built or tuned in BG.

Came to the same conclusion as you do. Think it is more than a little coincidental that their goal is to have the performance engine division operational March 1st and that the Z06 motors start being installed in "manufacturing captured fleet/validation build" cars just about the same time.
