For those who are wondering what to do in view of the exposed CF constraint, wait till its over, sacrifice what you want to order your StingRay without it, etc., there is already an aftermarket option.

Normally, we do not post vendor pitches if that vendor is not a supporting forum member, but as this is such a major issue (understandably) to many, and as we do not currently have a vendor in competition to Katech on this item currently, I am posting this from Jason @ Katech:

Yeah but Chris.... the C7 transparent roof is $995. and it is OEM.

I follow you now Chris.... my bad.

Just yesterday I changed my order from the CFR to the transparent top and I went from the "on-hold" (1100 status), (since August) to my order being sent in to GM tomorrow... all the way to 2000 status!!
And saved $1k besides!! hooray!!
