Has anyone experienced a P2227 error code, barometric pressure out of range. I have a 2016 Z06 with the super charger (SC). I have a filling it is related to the SC.
It happened in the Grand Canyon at about 7,000 ft. elevation. The dash message just said "Reduced Speed Warning" and the engine warning light Icon came on. It stayed on for the whole trip back to Los Angeles (500 miles). The car never limited me speed. The next morning after getting home the engine Icon light was done. I checked and found the P2227 code.

I have not had this issue on my 2016 Z06 but

From the Shop manual page 9-340

P2227 code

I paraphrase here.

The ECM detects the difference between the Measured signal and the calculated BARO value. If the value is greater than 2.9psi P2227 is set

Or

The BARO pressure is less than 7.3psi or more than 16.7psi it is set

P2228 sets if the signal is low and P2229 sets if signal is high

Based on the Altitude chart on page 9-85

7000ft should be 10.7 to 11.9 psi

Looks like it may have just been out of range for the conditions

Basically, if it resets there is no issue. If it does not reset or returns there may be issue with temp sensor or Mass air flow sensor.

Thats all I got.

Thank you. This information is very helpful. Like you said the conditions were enough to trigger the P2227. I didn't mention in my first thread, when I went out in the morning to leave, there was 7" of snow on the car.
