On long trip, and wife keeps complaining her seatbelt does not allow her to lean forward at all, and it is painfully snug. Thought it was something she was doing to make it lock up, like suddenly leaning forward or something. Even after unfastening it and re-buckling it, I reached over and tried to gently pull some slack forward from the chest area of the shoulder belt. It does not budge. Something is obviously wrong with the tensioner. Driver's side does not act this way. Anybody else having this issue?

Absolutely. Dreading it though. Have a feeling I will be there all day, then have to come back because they have to order parts. That's the way it always goes when you run into a less than common issue.

Possibly in the child car seat lock mode? May be pulling the belt all the way out while putting on her seat belt. Hopefully it's something simple and a quick fix for you and won't be tied up at the dealer for too long.

Ragtop, I'm glad to read that your minor issue was squared away, it may happen to one of us and now we have a solution. Now get out there and get some NJ wheel time before winter sets in!!!
