No and I looked it up, the exAFT is the newer of the 2.I think they said to use FAT32 at the presentation at the NCM. Is that a choice when you format it?
What do you mean? exAFT is the newest SD card technology? Or it is the most recent thing GM said to use on the SD card for the car?No and I looked it up, the exAFT is the newer of the 2.
Yeah, and that probably means an exFAT device can read a FAT card, but a FAT device may not be able to read an exFAT card.No and I looked it up, the exAFT is the newer of the 2.
Exactly. exFAT may be too new for the PDR device. Try an older SD card. What do you mean? exAFT is the newest SD card technology? Or it is the most recent thing GM said to use on the SD card for the car?
Even though the car is new, it doesn't mean the software is compatible with the most recent version of technology. Maybe try the FAT32 just to see?
Don't need to buy an older SD card, just reformat exfat to fat32 using the current card. Download from here Fat32FormatterYeah, and that probably means an exFAT device can read a FAT card, but a FAT device may not be able to read an exFAT card.
JeffSRQ said they expect FAT32. What size is your card? You probably need to put a FAT32 file system on your card, or buy an older SD card which has FAT32 on it.
It is best with class 10 but I am sure you can get away with even a class 4 if you already got a class 4 or anything between a 4 and 10. e.g Class 6The SD card also needs to be class 10.
I bet you were!I think it's good to point out, since I don't see it mentioned, that the SD card slot for the PDR is in the glovebox and it's not the same as the slot in the console. That was unclear to both me and my dealer guy, and it took a good eye to spot in the manual. So that seems like an easy mistake.
Needless to say I was quite confused when it was telling me no SD card was inserted.
