The Motor Press Guild just awarded Peter Brock two well-deserved awards: the Best of the Year in the Book category and The Dean Batchelor Award for Excellence in Automotive Journalism for his book Corvette Sting Ray: Genesis of an American Icon. If you have not had a chance to read this book and have any interest in the history of our great C7 Stingrays you should get Peter's book. It is extremely well written, had lots of 'back room' stories and great pictures including the sketch Peter did in 1957 as one of GM's youngest designers of the original Sting Ray coupe.

Bought a copy at Carlisle and had Mr. Brock sign it - read it the following weekend. Great read!
