My best Corvette buddy and his wife Pauline were intered at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday. The 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) did an outstanding job, a very memorable and emotionally moving experience. I don’t tear up much, but when Taps was played, I had a tough time holding it together.

His family invited members from his Corvette club, which was an honor for us to be there.

Photos really don’t do the experience any justice, if you’ve been to an interment, you know it is an event you’ll never forget.

Thanks for sharing. While i didn't know Phil personally i reached out to him several times both for his corvette knowledge and as we shared a similar health battle to offer what support i could.
As with several others we have lost in recent years i was saddened at his passing.
A well deserved honor for a great individual.

I got to know Phil during Norm's Wax&Chats and a trip to NCM. He was a super nice guy and a class act.
