I worked closely with Weld and was the first to setup the CTS V world on their drag wheels. I was eager to bring a solution for the C7 as well. I finally got my wheels mounted up and on my C7. The fronts are 18x6 on M&H skinnies, the rears are 18x11.5" on M&H 325s. I lowered the car on the factory bolts while I had the wheels off too.

These are custom 3pc wheels at amazing prices and are the perfect offset to run wide tires.
For track racing we can do a square setup of 18x9, 9.5, or 10" all around.
For drag racing we can do 18x6 to 18x10" fronts and 18x10 to 11.5" rears.

Enjoy! :)

love the fat rears and skinnies up front in this pic

perfect offset up the sides

good bye....

I have been in every state in the US, and in every city larger than 600,000 people. That city behind you is one of the most beautiful to see heading north bound on I-75 from the south side as you first start down the hill toward the river. That would be a few miles east of where you were there.

It is not a big city, but it sure is pretty at night.

Being honest here, those rims just don't do it for me.

Track wheels are rarely pretty but they serve a function. For track wheels these look very good. I think what throws people is the amount of sidewall vs. the stock configuration.

Going to 18's all around will make it a lot easier to find the best rubber for the type of racing. I could see something like this as a very viable autocross or DE track setup. Well done!

Different strokes for different folks. Some will like it some will not. I am sure he can find something else for those who do not like the ones above.

LOL oh the purists... no worries! ;) If I was only concerned with the street, I wouldn't run this size/style either as they have much more beautiful wheels. These are purpose built racing wheels/tires, their lightest with titanium hardware! The rear tires are a 28" OD and will have the duty of holding close to 1000HP to the ground. There is a lot more sidewall to them, so they look very different than stock. The autoX/track setup would be 18" all around as well, but would retain closer to a 27" OD wheel like OEM.

My street wheels should finish up this week if all stays on track as well. They're larger and will have a 355 rear tires. I can get you guys whatever you'd like when it comes to wheels though!

Here's my other wheel thread:

Been seeing some requests from some folks for someone to bring out an 18" set, all four wheels/tires, for track use. Nicely done. They are going to be very functional for specialized track folks. Thanks Ben!

Hey Ben, show us your street wheels when they come in. Maybe we can give you a hard time about those as well? LOL... :)

In all seriousness, you are a great guy to joke with. Keep the ideas and pictures coming!

Weaponx,
I have my C7 and tracked it (HPDE) this past weekend. I learned three things:
#1. I love driving this car on the track where you can really appreciate the performance aspects of the vehicle. (Z51, 3LT with all the bells and whistles).
#2. The stock tires are not suitable for extended track driving - so i need a set of wheels and tires for the track. (They look BAD!)
#3. I am a novice and have much to learn.

Please PM me with prices. I want to go wide for maximum traction but not too wide that it doesn't handle at low speed.

I am not sure how this will work out going from 19" front/20" rear to 18" with scrubs all around. Do I need to go 18" front 19" rear. I don't want to mess up the traction control sensors. I heard this could be a problem with altering the circumference on the C7.

I'd like more information about these track wheels also. I want to get my vette on the track this year.
