Hey Team,

I'm getting a new pair of prescription sunglasses for my new C7 and Ive heard that you can't see the HUD with polarized lenses. Is this a real thing?

My Maui Jim sunglasses are polarized. What I have found is that you can see the HUD as well as center stack screens perfectly well however they appear slightly dimmer than without the polarization. Not really an issue.

Joshua, no problem and I wear the Oakley polarized sunglasses, like mentioned before the HUD is slightly dimmer. They sure make everything clearer.

Thanks everyone! Went with the carbon fiber polarized RayBan shades.... Proving the point that sports car nuts would get pretty much everything in c-fiber if they could.

I'm going to have to look at those shades. Polarized will make the Red interior in my C7 look like it's glowing. Really cool!

No problems here.

Just adjust the HUD's brightness to the max during the day.

INOV8... try amber lenses and the red will REALLY "pop". Almost day-glow bright.

Same here with polarized Oakleys. Definitely dimmer but you can still see it - just turn the brightness all the way up.
