ProCharger Supercharger Blog » 2014 Corvette C7 sneak peek?

here's the link below to prochargers blog on their C7 kits. There isnt much info yet but these are the design cars, one auto and one manual. I'm the owner of the white manual Z51 car and I toured the company when I dropped off the car and I'm very impressed to say the least.

I don't have any detsils on the kit yet but I know it will be an amazing product. Ive owned procharged cars before and I love them. In fact, my 05 Mustang is getting a big F1R installed as well.

Guys if you want a blower just wait until this is completed. Best part is that there is a driveline warranty avaliable to protect the car as well.

That's just crazy. Are you running E85 or C16 with that power and what psi are you running? What compression did you build the motor for all that power?

Ha, sorry for the 20 questions but it's nice to see a CTSV go centri rather then big PD blower. I'm hoping for 700 at the wheels on 93 and 800 on E85. That's about the max I can get out of the motor I built because it has a 10:1 compression. When I was building the motor I had plan a different build but I'm happy with the change.

I would love to see pics and video of the big V. It must made all kinds of great noises. Lol

Yea, I'll start a diff thread in my section on that. It sounds UNREAL haha... not a sleeper. I'm running e85, adapted the flex fuel sensor to work on the V, it's something I'll be working with Steck with for this car too. HP Tuners doesn't support that yet but they surely will. PD blowers are fun because of the gobs of low end torque, but centris are so easy and linear for power. My motor is 10:1 CR but built, sleeved, and 6 bolt heads. It sees close to 30psi ;)

I'll redirect thread my derail here so this thread can get back on track (sorry all!)... centris on these c7's are a beautiful thing!

Would they offer warranty for the vehicle like Hennessy and Edelbrock?

Sent from my iPhone using Corvette Stingray Forum

They don't offer the warranty but worked out a deal with an extended warranty company to cover the drivetrain. A normal factory warranty will cover the rest of the car.

Here's the link to the info and I've already called crown and the C7 is covered ever though it's not on the list of cars. I'm buying the warranty for sure and it's the only reason I'm supercharging the car right now. I love procharger and what they build and feel comfortable with the warranty company too.

Another cool fact about procharger is that they CNC and make a lot of their own parts in house, including their impellers
which are then balanced in house as well. Plus each blower is tested before it's sent out.

yes Vortech is well respected but the 5 axis quality of the new F1X is just a work of art by comparison! Here's my Procharger F1X vs a Vortech (in their defense, I'm not sure how old this V model was and you can see it's much smaller)
