Looks like twice the amount of C7's than two weeks ago -- so estimated rate of 30 per day being produced. If accurate, looks like a production rate of four per hour, so production is still very, very slow compared to eventual rate of 18 per hour. Notice many fewer yellow ones than in the BGAP picture taken two weeks ago, which someone surmised was due to the three transporters with 39 cars heading off to Bondurant driving school.

Update to above numbers, as someone with high resolution capabilities just counted 712 cars in that lot picture. Adding in the 39 more primarily or totally yellow ones that recently left in the three transporters, looks like 750 have been produced, giving a revised, estimated per hour production rate the last two weeks of 5.5 per hour.

Ahhh, the things we do to pass time until lucky folks get their new StingRays.

I'm waiting to see a Convertible on that lot, and hoping the delay for convertibles doesnt match the start of production, Keep your eyes out for a crystal red w/ kalahari interior and black top

Congratulations. Super exciting news, for you especially, but also for others currently waiting to get their VIN's. Production progress at ever-increasing pace.

Enjoy your sweet ride!

Congrates to all who have there car shipped!!!!! We were told that the convertibles were starting Oct 1. That means I could have mine by the end of October You must tell us of your dealership experience. Real curious if the dealerships understand what we the customers fell about this machine.

My car today said shipped too! However spoke to rep and they told me it hasn't been placed on a transporter.... Also my dealer told me they haven't been invoiced. Once the invoice is received it should be approx 1 week.

I just heard back from my rep at Hendricks Motorsports, and unfortunatly he hold me there is a glitch in the order tracker that is putting everything at 4000 as being shipped. He told me it has to be at 4200, 4000 is hold at factory. Sorry everyone

For what it's worth...received from my dealer...

It looks like they are moving on the C2Z and C2M options (visible carbon fiber) though which is good news.
Several more cars picked up and added to the event code 3000 “accepted for production.” This list excludes convertibles.
Bit of inside info… Mr. Hendrick’s cars (no.1 and no.2) are being delivered on the September 20 at the GM Design center. I strongly believe this to be the official date they are going to release the vehicles to the dealerships as all produced cars are currently being bayed and held at the plant. GM tracking shows cars en route – this is not the case as their system recognizes everything 4000+ as “en route.”
I also think that all Museum Deliveries are going to be scheduled after September 30, as that is when the factory opens to assembly plant tours…

Yesterday, I had a long conversation with my direct contact at GM and with my sales person (Jason Foshea) at Classic. In summary, my vehicle is produced, has been through quality control and inspections and... as of yesterday... bayed 4D00 (4 "D" 00 not 4000). Bayed could be that it's on a carrier or waiting to be put on a carrier. Here's the part that has me concerned. Per both contacts, my vehicle could arrive before the invoice. Obviously, they can't sell me the vehicle until I have an invoice to pay from. GM could delay in providing the invoices to the dealerships, even though they're shipping. In summary, GM has made progress in getting the C7 produced, through QT and inspections and bayed. Once your vehicle has taken the steps mine has thus far, the next option on the GM Order Tracking site "shipped/en route" because that's the next step. Those of you who have "shipped/en route" appearing probably does mean you're in the stage I'm in. I hope this is helpful as I spent hours trying to understand this position yesterday. My only hope is the invoice makes it to the dealership before my C7, because I'm going to be camping out when it arrives in order to drive it home to its CRIB!!!! (fyi... I'm going to post this in a few other areas to get the info out there).
