I am currently at a status 1100...I am wanting to change my order. All I want to change is the color, that shark Grey has made me want to change my color.

If I make a change will this delay my process at all since
I am only at an 1100 status??

Correct me if I am wrong guys, but unless you are ordering Orange, color makes no difference in the order process. I have personally changed a number of things on my car at 1100 status, such as:

Going from red to gray interior.
deleting the CFZ Carbon fiber option.

Change stuff you want right now before you get above 1100!

While at 1100 you can change stuff around all you like, being mindful of constraints. Once it's been accepted by GM, changing things might delay your car in some cases (correct me if I'm wrong guys).

So go ahead and change to Shark Gray :)

As of last Thursday, there is no longer any constraints on DSOM II, so orange is now identically treated like every other color.

Deleting CFZ may of helped your order being moved up for earlier acceptance during consensus...last I heard the aero options are constrained.

The only thing for you to worry about right now is losing price protection if your order was at 1100 before the last price increase. If so, then a change of any type will cause you to lose price protection of the old price. Otherwise, get that eraser out and have at it!

Thanks for the comments. I called my dealer this morning and changed my order from Artic White to Shark Grey. They said they will get the order updated on Thursday so hopefully this doesn't cause any future delays...but if it does oh well, I would rather wait longer and get exactly what I want.

Thanks again guys!
